Update on orders to EU countries
UPDATE on 5th February 2021 – We are pleased to announce that we have resumed accepting pre-orders for Gal*Gun Returns 'Birthday Suit' Collector's Edition from countries in the EU.
A message for our EU customers:
You are most likely all aware of the current situation with the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union (aka Brexit) and the challenges it has introduced. We have initially made the decision to continue operating as normal during this uncertain period and accept orders from EU countries which we have continued to do for four weeks, but this has become increasingly difficult. There are a lot of unexpected issues and we have experienced inconsistencies on VAT rates, customs charges, etc.
As a result of that, unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to pause accepting new orders for in stock items from EU countries, effective immediately. Pre-orders for certain items will not be affected (more details below). Although we understand that this will cause an inconvenience for you, we feel it is ultimately better for everyone, so we can prepare accordingly and resume operations providing you the best experience possible.
We are working very diligently to establish a European warehouse and local fulfilment centre(s), which would eliminate any additional costs and friction, while also keeping postage low. The current timeline for completion is in April, so we expect to resume accepting orders on 1st May 2021.
We continue to accept pre-orders from EU countries for items that are due to be released from 1st May onwards such as Worms Collection 1, Indie Heroes Collection 1, and Kowloon High-School Chronicle, and we guarantee that they will be fulfilled without any additional VAT or customs fees - even if this is at our expense.
Existing pre-orders for Gal*Gun Returns (due for release on 12th February 2021), and Jaleco Collection 1 & Piko Interactive 2 (due for release on 1st April 2021) will not be affected. We are currently investigating for the best way to achieve frictionless fulfilment and will provide more details if required.
Shipping outside of European countries remains unchanged; the above decisions only affect customers within Europe.
